Regisseur Christopher Nolan ziet zijn laatste Batman film The Dark Knight Rises aanstaande vrijdag in premiere gaan. Voor een karakter ziet hij mogelijkheden voor een spinoff film.
Nolan is zeer te spreken over de prestatie van Anne Hathaway in de rol van Selina Kyle alias Catwoman. Nolan: “Anne is incredibly precise and articulate about the psychology of the character. She’s really built it from the ground up, it’s just a delight to watch her perform. .
.. She’s an incredible character and we’re very excited to see her, and hopefully we’ll leave people wanting more.”
Daarmee wil Nolan overigens niet zeggen dat hij een eventuele spinoff voor zijn rekening zal nemen. Nolan: “For me, Gotham and these characters, I’m done. I’ve told our story and I’m moving on … [but] I certainly think she deserves it, she’s incredible.”
Hathaway kan dan in ieder geval de misser van Halle Berry uit 2004 wegpoetsen.
